HAPPY NEW YEAR and SKETCH SATURDAY

It's Saturday, the last day of 2011 and time for a new sketch challenge over at Sketch Saturday. This is my last card as a GD. It was really fun to work with all the great sketches. Thank you so much again, Karita, for asking me:)

 I've made a card with papers from FabScraps. They are really beautiful. And this time I tried not to cover them up too much....

 The image is from Pion Design. These two girls are adorable.... I've added some lace around the edges.

 The text says "Happy New Year". The letters are small alphabet stickers from Adornit. And of course some cheese cloth:)

 Flowers are from Kort og Godt. And some white feathers from Panduro. Self adhesive pearls also from Panduro.

 The branches are from a Martha Stewart punch.

Sketch Saturday challenge

Saturday and time for a new challenge over at Sketch Saturday. This is my 3rd card as a Guest Designer.
Just a qick post from me today;)

 I've made a Christmas card with beautiful papers from Pion Design.

The card from the side. You can also see a little of the inside.

 The image is from Magnolia. The text behind Tilda is also from Magnolia. I have masked them together. The text says "Christmastime".

 Tilda is colored with Distress Ink. I've added some glitter stickles on her wings. And then some close ups:

At the back I've put my personal stamp.

Sketch Saturday GD-card

There is time for a new sketch challenge over at Sketch Saturday. And here comes my second card as a guest designer.

 This time I've made a very shabby birthdaycard for a girl in my daughter's class. I think I got a lot of inspiration from the weather lately. Finally  it's been snowing here:) And my card really turned out very "snowy".....

 The image is cut out with a Spellbinder circle. I have added a lot of white paint and some snow texture around the edge. And a bit of Puffy Velvet. Papers are Pion Design.

 "Tilda with Snowheart" is colored with Distress ink. This stamp is from Magnolias Sweet Cristmas Dreams collection. Don't you think she is adorable? And I think the image  is also suitable for birthdaycards.
Around the image I've added Liquid Pearls.

 The text says: Happy Birthday! I put some white corrugated cardboard under the text and also under the image.

 The snowflake is a Marianne Design-die. I've added a lot ofPuffy velvet and a touch of Glitter Stickles Star Dust. And of course some cheese cloth! I love cheese cloth:)))

 Snow Flurries die from Tim Holtz.

 The big flower is WOC. I think the roses maybe are Prima. I used a sponge and added some white paint and also a little glitter.

I've also decorated the insides.

Guest Designer at Sketch Saturday:)

Some weeks ago the very talented Karita asked me to be her guest designer at Sketch Saturday. Of course I wanted to:)) Thank you so much for asking, Karita!

 I've made a Christmas card with designpapers from Maja Design Vintage Winter and Gammaldags Jul.

 The beautiful image is from Maja Design Vintage Winter Stamps.

 "Ella with a candle" is colored with Distress inks.

 I have sprayed the red roses with some white paint and also added a little extra paint to the edges . The flowers come from Kort og Godt and WOC. The swirl is a QK die.

 Around the image I've added some cheese cloth.

 The snowflake is an old chipboard from Tim Holtz. I've added some Crackle Paint and inked the edges.

 Post stamp from Kort og Godt. The text is in Norwegian and it says: Homemade Postcard.

 A lot of layers of papers. I'm so addicted to papers...;)
